Line art that I've supplied to Rachel for her to color this weekend for a joint project.
Theresa! Dude, I TOLD you I was basing a character design on you. BEHOLD!!!
Don't worry, we'll have more to share real soon. :)
Oh noes, they're gonna steal my cappuccino!
A postcard I painted for my Uncle Alan. It's going out in the mail tomorrow. Windsor Newton watercolors plus a Micron 1.0, Miffy colored (and scented!) gel pens, and the white Uni-ball Signo UM-153 that mshepley recommended -- it really does work just as well as she said!
About a week ago I purchased what I like to call a "faux-skine" pocket-sketchbook: in other words, an off-brand Moleskine knockoff called Pen & Ink. It's actually a really nice sketchbook, and I'm having a lot of fun with it, thanks in part to the inspiring posts in this community I stumbled across. Here's a few of my sketches:

I'm breaking in my Windsor & Newton travel watercolor kit and getting more use out of my Miffy scented gel-pens. ;) Damn, but those things are flexible.
Whew! I just finished Chapter 5 of The Faerie Path. Yay! Now I can ignore it all day tomorrow, then proof it tomorrow evening, and send it off on Monday. One chapter to go, which is too bad -- I love working on this series! I got my first Marvel Art Card almost completely painted. I'm using acrylics, which have long been my friend. Still a little scared of the water-colors/gouache. I'll be able to share the images out only after they've been approved by the project Art Director, so it'll be a little while.
