A page from a project I’m preparing for the Persephone’s Kiss anthology, which is being edited by Shirl Sazynski:
This is for a 10-12 page story written and drawn by me. I’m juggling a lot right now, so I’m hoping I can get this short finished in the fall.
The What’s Cooking? graphic novel is now available.
I had a really good time working on the one-pager I submitted. I hope people like it! Thanks again to my good friend Bosley Gravel for letting me use his famous Lime Marmalade recipe!
Here’s a sample panel from my one-page submission to TGT Media’s Cookbook Project:
What started out as a simple idea of doing a cookbook based around webcomic characters has blossomed into a full fledged campaign to help raise money for the hungry in North America. “Webcomics: What’s Cooking?” is that cookbook that will feature dozens and dozens of recipes from popular webcomic creators showcasing a variety of recipes from Breakfast to Dinner and a few things in between!
They’re currently open for pre-orders and they have quite the line-up of creators, including my fellow Gammers Karen Luk and John Peters. I’m excited to be a part of this, so I hope you order a book and let me know what you think of my recipe.
The website promoting the Twisted Fairy Tale Anthology is online!
I painted the illustration. The anthology will also contain one of my short stories, a twisted retelling of Cinderella. I’ll let everyone know when the book is actually released.
