It’s a FCBD book? That’s really cool. My girfriend and I love that show and actually have the DVDs. Since she is a librarian I’ll also have her get some extras to give away. Our local comic shop gives her a lot of FCBD stuff.
Glad you liked the review! Yours was one of the most enjoyable of the anthology. : )
Wow! Thank you so much. :)
Great sketch! Love the cat’s expression and it’s completely adorable while being “ouch!”
Thanks Ariel! Too funny – I was just thinking about you the other day. I gotta call ya sometime. :)
What’s the word I am looking for…?
Oh yes: Squeeeeeeeee.
Frikkin’ cute ovah heah!
May i know ? the name of software to make a sketch pic? or can i used photoshop?
The two digital sketching programs I’ve found myself using the most are Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and Corel Painter Sketch Pad. I personally find the interface in Sketch Pad easier to use, and the pencil tool in there mimics a real-world pencil very closely, but they are both good programs. I’d say just download trial versions and see which one you like more.
Sadly, I’ve never been very good at using Photoshop as a sketching tool. I can paint in it okay, but it never feels like a comfortable sketching environment for me. I think I may have to learn how to make more custom brushes, though.
Let me know if you have any other questions — I don’t mind answering them. :)
OMG That’s gorgeous! Have you thought about submitting this so it can be turned into a notebook? How would you even go about doing that? This is so cute. I love it. I would buy this. :)
Right now I’m pretty much making the equivalent of a minicomic — just 8.5 by 11 paper folded over and stapled down the middle. I was thinking about putting some up for sale on my blog once I get three or four different designs done. :)
Awww, cheer up pippi! =)
Those teen years are always a bitch. ;)
Hello Lady!
I traded bizness cards with you during the fraggle signing. Such fun, and I’m digging your elegant art! Will have to see what stories you’ve come up with for the gang when I get to the comic sore.
Great to meet you!
Thanks so much! It was great getting to meet so many other Fraggle fans! I hope you like my story. :)
Thanks Leigh! Hope we get to do another Fraggle signing together again soon.
No problem, and I hope so, too! It was so great being able to hang out and yap for awhile. :)
I really like the blackbird in the top painting. It looks so realistic.
Thanks so much! :D
Awesome news! Love your work and can’t wait to see the VA GN book! Is the adaptation the full book, or just like the first volume of VA?
The first volume of the graphic novel will cover the entire first book in the Vampire Academy series. I’m happy you’re looking forward to it, and I really hope you enjoy it! :)
Leigh! I’m sorry we haven’t had a chance to speak yet..but I’m so enjoying working through the script. ^_^ thank you so much for your work!
No problem, Emma! I’m really excited to see your pages. :)
I love the comic – imagine our former company as a huge bento box…as always, I love your work!!

Not yet, unfortunately, but we’re making good progress. :)
Beautiful piece,
Thank you! :) I’m happy with how this one came out.
awesome good luck on the pitch, I’d buy it.
Thanks so much! I’ll have some more stuff up in a couple of months! :)
Leigh, I love this painting of Arachne–esp the look on her face. Also: the way the locks of her hair and the web comingle and differentiate. Beautiful.
Thank you! That painting was a real challenge, but I had a wonderful time working on it. :)
Y U NO LIKE YOUR KINDLE??? ;-) Or is this just a 6-panel fable on the dangers of gadget envy?
It’s supposed to be 2 pages and I need to get off my lazy butt and finish it. >_<
What do you expect your parents to know, Leigh?
Something….with people…

Thanks so much, Richard!
All ridiculously cute. I’m looking forward to seeing more pictures and hearing about their antics.
Hee! No worries, I’m going to keep ’em coming!

Oh my, very cute & very good psychological profile of a cat!!
Can’t wait to hang out and sign some books!
What is it with you and those little blobbly things?
This is going to be a GREAT graphic novel.
Because I LOVE blobby things! :D
I felt so bad that the web-series of Ever After High has come to a very end of it’s page, but it’s a good thing you have released Class of Classics though, and I love it.
Is there an idea that you have in mind for another graphic novel of Ever After High? Cause picture this, Apple, Raven and all students at Ever After High are all grown up and hopefully this will renew the web-series.
Sorry it’s taken so long to reply to you! I’ve had a very hectic year. I’m so happy you enjoyed the book! You should definitely contact the artist, https://twitter.com/JessiSheron, and let her know — I know how hard she worked on the art. To answer your question, unfortunately I don’t know if they’re planning on doing more, but here’s hoping — I’m a fan of the webseries, too!

Hey, no problem. :) This one is just real-world blue pencil (I use this kind of lead – http://www.jetpens.com/product_info.php/products_id/1370 – it erases clean!).
