I’m going to be at a signing! I’ll be at the Archaia booth (#813) at Wondercon from 2-3:30 on Saturday. Please stop on by!
Like many creative types, I journal obsessively. On average, I fill about 3 or 4 composition notebooks a year, which I’ve done since I was 15 years old. That’s added up to quite a few plain, boring as crap black notebooks stacked in my closet. Recently, I decided that I want fun notebooks to journal in. Unfortunately, most of the options on the market didn’t do very much for me. Either they were too “fancy” and I didn’t feel comfortable writing in them, or they were designed for 10 year olds, and of course everything I found that I did like was made in China. After spending a day searching online, I found a Canadian company that makes fun, eco-friendly, fair-trade composition notebooks which were beautiful and trendy and, of course, right out of my price range. That tore it. I decided to try my hand at making my own notebooks, with my own designs. This is the design for the cover of the first one and I’m really happy with how it came out. :)
I call it Moody Guy With Glasses.

Slug bunnies have no respect for fine literature. They may have a taste for it, but no respect.
This is how my day started. Luckily the bleeding stopped by the time I got to the train station. Thanks, Flash! >:P
OH NO, it’s gonna get in my tea!

4 out of 5 again!
Here’s the write-up for my story.
“Cinder Sister” (5/5) – Leigh Dragoon tells a darkly entertaining look at Cinderella through her sister’s eyes. The stepsister is not as evil as we would believe but actually another pawn of her mother’s machinations. My only complaint is that it was too short. I wanted more!
;_; This just makes me so happy! I put a lot into that story, and I’m glad it’s getting a good reception.
